      Happy Holidays All!

I'm currently putting together a list for the upcoming series of Aussie Millions tournaments. For the past couple years, this has been widely regarded as one of the, if not the softest tournament in the world. Crown Casino does a very good job of running a lot of satellite qualifiers for all their events at the casino itself as well as across many different online poker sites.

      My screennames are:

      FullTilt: hav0cNZ
      Pokerstars: hav0cLOL
      Pokerstrategy: chenny8888
      Hendonmob: Jackson Zheng

Keep in mind that I haven't played significantly volumes on any tracked sites nor have I put in any significant volume on online MTTs. There are, however, a ton of low stakes SNG games on each account as a result of coaching work that I do for Pokerstrategy (so if you want to use the stats I would suggest applying a filter first).

I have, however, played a reasonable amount of live tournaments, especially early this year as well as in the latter 6 months of last year. I've also played at 5? separate tournament series this year while studying. Most of these series have been with Australasians in Australasia, so I feel I have a good grasp on how a lot of the "regulars" play, as well as how the average unknown plays.

In addition to this, my first/previous year at Aussie Millions was AFAIK my most profitable trip. I bricked the main but managed to get a second place as well as a 5th place in 2 of the side events. On top of this I managed to play a ton of cash games and win a sick amount. This year I will be focusing solely on the tournaments so hopefully this will show in the results.

As a result of all this, I am putting a 1.2 mark-up on the package (or 20%). I feel this is extremely good value as I am lumping all the tournaments together to lower everyone's variance.

      Included tournaments:

17 January: Event 3 - NLH Shootout 1000 + 100 (I may not be able to make this, it depends on my flight from PCA)
      19 January: Event 5 - 6-handed NLH 1000 + 100
      21 January: Event 7 - NLH Bounties 1500 + 150
      23 January: Flight 2 - Aussie Millions Main Event - 10000 + 600 (2 million AUD first prize!)
      23 January: Event 11 - NLH 500 + 50
      24 January: Event 14 Terminator (= bounty) - NLH 500 + 50
      25 January: Event 15 - NLH 500 + 50
      26 January: Event 17 - NLH 500 + 50
      27 January: Event 19 - 6-handed NLH 2250 + 250
      27 January: Event 21 - 8-game Mix 1000 + 100
      28 January: Event 22 - Turbo NLH Cubed 500 + 50 (cost is $1550)
      28 January: Event 24 - PLO 500 + 50
29 January: Event 25 - NLH Special Bounties 500 + 50 (not quite the same as a bounty tournament, in this one they place bounties on some of the more "famous" players)

Total is $22900AU. From google, this is equal to $23612.19US. With the 1.2 markup I am rounding this up to 28340$US.

Note that in maybe 99.9% of the situations you aren't risking the full amount as I will have some mincashes peppered in with my results, as well as make a couple day 2s. Even if I don't cash in the day 2s, this will mean that I end up playing a smaller schedule.

      thus 0.1% = 28.34$
      0.2% = 56.68$
      0.5% = 141.7$
      1% = 283.4$
      2% = 566.8$
      5% = 1417$
      10% = 2834$

Minimum is 0.1% at the moment, I may lower this in the future. I will be selling up to 75% of myself. At the moment it seems like this will be a much lower figure.

      Payment

Stars is the preferred payment method. Moneybooker is also acceptable, provided you pay the fee (tiny fee anyway). Moneybooker email is jackson.havoc@gmail.com . AUD or NZD Bank Transfer is also possible. Post in here and then PM me in order for my bank details.

When I ship all the moneys, we will calculate the amount by xe.com mid market rates. I will then pay you by Pokerstars if it's a small amount. If it's a big amount you will have the option of taking a direct bankwire from Australia (where you pay the fee) or the face value on Pokerstars.

      Coverage

Will be updated soon with the site where you can follow this.

Full Schedule is viewable here: http://www.aussiemillions.com/schedule

      Due Dates:

Due date for payment as well as booking action will be the midnight of the 15th of January, ET. I think this translates to 5AM on the 16th for Europeans using UTC.

      PS:

FWIW I think a couple people aren't too sure about how I'd do in the 8-game mix tournament. Over the last couple months I've been playing these a ton on Stars because I just find it so interesting. I've had pretty damn good results playing from 2/4 up to 10/20 stakes (no giraffes unfortunately, as PTR doesn't track it and I don't have PTStud). I've played a lot of mix game tournaments at Crown (albeit with 0 success) and generally find the level of play ridiculously soft in them. They are generally slightly tougher over Aussie Millions as a bunch of American regs fly over, but I still feel like I'm going to have a significant edge in them.

This year I will be focusing solely on the tournaments so hopefully this will show in the results.

As a result of all this, I am putting a 1.3 mark-up on the package (or 30%). I feel this is extremely good value as I am lumping all the tournaments together to lower everyone's variance.

      Included tournaments:

17 January: Event 3 - NLH Shootout 1000 + 100 (I may not be able to make this, it depends on my flight from PCA)
      18 January: Event 4 - PLO 1000 + 100
      19 January: Event 5 - 6-handed NLH 1000 + 100
20 January: Event 6 - NLH Rebuys 1000 + 150 (assume cost is around 4150 ** NOTE: I may not play this event)
21 January: Event 7 - NLH Bounties (not quite the same as a bounty tournament, in this one they place bounties on some of the more "famous" players) 1500 + 150
      Aussie Millions Main Event - 10000 + 600
      23 January: Event 11 - NLH 500 + 50
      24 January: Event 14 Terminator (= bounty) - NLH 500 + 50
      25 January: Event 15 - NLH 500 + 50
      25 January: Event 16 - HORSE 2250 + 250
      26 January: Event 17 - NLH 500 + 50
      27 January: Event 19 - 6-handed NLH 2250 + 250
      27 January: Event 21 - 8-game Mix 1000 + 100
      28 January: Event 22 - Turbo NLH Cubed 500 + 50 (cost is either 1550 or 1650)

Total including the 1150 rebuys tournament is $29650AU. From google, this is equal to $30080US. With the 1.3 markup I am rounding this down to 39100$US. Note that in maybe 99.9% of the situations you aren't risking the full amount as I will have some mincashes peppered in with my results, as well as make a couple day 2s. Even if I don't cash in the day 2s, this will mean that I end up playing a smaller schedule.

      thus 0.1% = 39.10$
      0.2% = 78.20$
      0.5% = 195.50$
      1% = 391.00$
      2% = 782.00$
      5% = 1955.00$
      10% = 3910.00$

Might be interested.. I've no doubt your a very good player. I just feel like 30% markup is ALOT to be paying without seeing any graphs. Since if you sell all(75%) the action your basically freerolling for 25% of the winnings.

Your online tournament graph looks solid enough. Although the sample is small. I'd however be interested in knowing your ROI from all the years you've played in the Aussie millions before considering staking some small %.

      about 350

seriously though i have no idea how i'd calculate this, so this is probably not something that i can do. it's obviously positive though and by a pretty big amount (lets say over 200%) over a tiny sample

Booked. At the moment it's unlikely I'll be playing the full schedule. The tournaments I'll take out in order (assuming I don't get enough people buying action) are the rebuy (too expensive ldo), the 2500$ HORSE, and then the 2500$ 6-max NL.

Note to self: update schedule to include Events 24 and 25 (550$ PLO and 550$ NLH respectively)

      Hi Chenny

What is the plan for the stakes ... since the amount of Buyin is decreasing is the percentage increasing or will their BI amount be reduced or something else?

      Regards

because they booked a % i'm going to lower the price overall once i remove these tournaments. alternatively if someone books x$ of action then i will adjust the percentage.

Schedule and prices updated! Have not yet removed the 2500$ 6-handed as I'm hoping to get enough interest in this as I feel I have a particularly good edge in this tournament. I will remove it if there isn't enough interest though.

      hi chenny,

i also have some questions (as a regular member and not a mod). i noticed that some days you have scheduled 2 events. did you do this so you would buy in to the next tournament if you bust the first one? what happens if you don't bust before the next one starts? will the stakers get a larger percentage of the package or will you be refunding some %? :)

also realistically speaking, given your deadline of Jan 15 which is less than a week away, and having sold <1%, maybe the package should be adjusted a little bit. :) just a suggestion, but its your decision of course. the amount of the whole package + markup + conversion losses/transfer fees might be a bit overwhelming for some.

are you playing the events whether or not you sell all the action?

      It will be refunded.

This may happen closer to the date. But I'm ok with paying the majority of the costs of a 20k package anyway, GAMBOOOL!

(I should say, as opposed to getting paid no markup or something, haha. It's just an opportunity cost situation for me)
