IPoker, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 2 Players

      SB: $4.95 (247.5 bb)
      Hero (BB): $3.57 (178.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A T
SB raises to $0.04, Hero raises to $0.16, SB raises to $0.28, Hero folds

      Results: $0.32 pot
SB mucked and won $0.32 ($0.16 net)

      Our opponent's stats: VP/PFR/foldto3bet/hands 44/35/43/341

Our opponent used minraises all the time and I thought that I am ahead of his range and I want more money in the pot with this hand, and I can imagine him calling with worse.

      1) Is a 3bet here good?
      2) Is the fold standard?

      Hello Avatars91,

      1) Is a 3bet here good?

While being so deep I wouldn't be so greedy but just Call and play it postflop. :) We are just putting yourselves into complicated situations postflop.

      2) Is the fold standard?

      Why shouldn't it be? :)

      Best Regards.

Even if we see our opponent calling us with worse hands?

I just thought we're getting good odds that might be enough maybe to find a call.

Depends how sure can you be and also how good are you playing the hand OOP. What kind of stats does the opponent have postflop and etc. :) It's HU, where there are several factors which you should take into account, not only "he calls me with worse". :)

And be dominated often and then play for the stacks with just TP? :) Nah, I doubt so. Obviously we could Call but I would for beginners never advice to do that as I would not advice to play HU.
