I thoutt I am doing good against shortstack, but not sure about the bigstack. He had few 3bets until now but who know if they were bluffs or value bets. So called to see the flop.

Now what to do with this midde pair :) if I don't bet, then basically I have to check fold, because fish is passive, so if he bets I am beat. Probably thats what I had to do. His range preflop should not contain too many weak hands, and Kx should be big part of his range.

But as I did bet flop, I had to bet the turn, because I felt commited against his stack.

If I would have c/f flop, then I still would not have lost too much, only 25 bbs so not a big deal, instead of risking the remaining stack with marginal hand.

      Hi,

I think call pf is fine and on that flop I would likely still check and then decide if BU would either shove or bet. He may call you down with QJ, TJ, but he would never going to fold Kx or better that spot so taking passive line can´t be bad.

Also your check might induce him shove smt like 88 for some reason so giving him option turn his hand into bluff has imo higher ev than betting yourself for value

      Best regards,
