IPoker, $0.02/$0.04 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

      BTN: $0.18 (4.5 bb)
      SB: $5.32 (133 bb)
      Hero (BB): $4.14 (103.5 bb)
      UTG: $4.60 (115 bb)
      MP: $5 (125 bb)
      CO: $1.04 (26 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A 9
4 folds, SB raises to $0.12, Hero raises to $0.36, SB calls $0.24

      Flop: ($0.72) 3 Q T (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.46, SB raises to $1.57, Hero folds

      Results: $1.64 pot ($0.10 rake)
      Final Board: 3 Q T
SB mucked and won $1.54 ($0.72 net)
Hero mucked A 9 and lost (-$0.82 net)

      Opponent's stats:
      VP/PFR/AF/Foldto3bet/Cbetflop/WTSD/hands 42/25/1.3/0(2)/100(3)/15/54

Looking back at the hand I somehow don't like the 3bet anymore. We are getting called too often and all the spots become difficult to play once we do get called.

Would you agree with a call preflop and would you recommend raising his Cbet as a bluff on dry boards should he Cbet?

      Hello Avatars91,

You ain't gonna achieve much with the 3bet preflop and neither with the CB on the flop which hardly hits his calling range. :) I would not 3bet preflop and I wouldn't CB the flop.

Neither I wouldn't Call without any great plan for the postflop, raising such a flop would be totally waste of money since we ain't making any draws nor pairs to fold. Why do you even want to play aggressively on NL4? Did you watch too many videos of our coaches? :D

      Best Regards.

I agree with you completely. 3betting this is terrible.

      But.

Yes, yes, I know that the sample size is small, but still - he seems to Cbet a lot. Given that fact, can we call and raise boards like Kd 7c 2h?

I haven't watched too many videos lately, but I must say that against him folding A9o seems kind of nitty to me. Although I could be convinced that I should fold this hand until I get a couple more hands from him to make sure that my assumptions about his playing tendencies are more correct.

Once I start playing back only with a very few hands it seems that he can raise almost ATC against me profitably. Thad I would not like.

You are taking NL4 as NL50. :D Do you really think VPIP: 42 will ever fold here to your 3bet? With fold to 3bet 0?

I am no longer talking about 3betting preflop. Reread my last post!

Really? "I haven't watched too many videos lately, but I must say that against him folding A9o seems kind of nitty to me."

And neither I didn't really get your question above it. What do you mean we can Call a raise boards like ...?

Call preflop, and raise his Cbet.

Yes, it's possible but now again I wouldn't recommend picking any fancy lines in those limits where people even don't fold any pairs/PPs. :>

And even if you would, this probably is not the opponent against whom this might be the best idea, right?

      Hi Avatars,
I also think this opponent isn´t good for some moves like light 3-bet or call with A9o and bluff raise on most of flop.
I would to wait for a better chance for stack him ;)
