      Hey Jimany,

Can you tell me why you think this Turncard is a good barrel card? What did the 2nd barrel strategy in general taught you?

      Let me know!

I don't understand it well enough to give a confident answer :D .

At the time the 2 of clubs completes a flush draw that I was attempting to represent. I would guess an A, K, or Q would be possible candidates for cards to second barrel because they reduce the value of hands like JT or TT.

It was probably improper for me to try to rep the flush when I bet the flop.

Is there an article or video that goes in depth on when to do this?

(since doing some research decided to edit)

I'd need to bet when a card that is within my range of hands hits on the turn. It's fairly unlikely that the 2 helped me unless I was continuation betting with a flush draw. I do think better cards to second barrel on would be an A K or Q that would make an opponents mid-pair or pair of jacks look less valuable. Obviously if I hit Top pair with a strong kicker my attention will probably switch from getting him to fold to getting weaker hands to call but an A might be a good one if I'm trying to get him to fold.

Am I getting the right idea?

There are more combo's of Jx than flushdraws for example. So the majority of his range is Jx, then Flushdraws & other PPs/overcards

So Jx played by a 40/11 recreational player would mostly call the Turn again since he has toppair, he maaaaaaaybe folding on your river shove but since you have to risk a lot to win the original Turnpot, it is not really worth it
