      UTG ($20.47)
      UTG+1 ($20.84)
      UTG+2 ($14.72)

      CO ($19.04)
      BTN ($20.16)

      Dealt to Hero T:heart: T:club:

fold, fold, fold, MP1 raises to $0.40, Hero calls $0.40, fold, fold, fold, fold

      FLOP ($1.10) 2:heart: 8:club: 5:heart:

      TURN ($2.50) 2:heart: 8:club: 5:heart: A:heart:

MP1 checks, Hero bets $1.35, MP1 raises to $2.70, Hero folds

      MP1 wins $4.94

Villain plays 31/6 over 300 hands

I call preflop because his pfr is so low.

I expect him to bet pocket pair on this board, so I guess I'm ahead and value bet after his check.

Ugly river because it hits his range if he didn't slowplay overpairs on the flop. I could possibly have a few outs for a flush but I expect him to only have broadway cards so if he got a heart he got a better flush draw. I thought I would bet T for free showdown.

or is it better to check behind and hope for a heart or T?

Unless your image is really bad and you expect him to call you down 3 streets with worse hand (like 8x) I´d go pot control on the turn and call any river or if checked then bet myself.
Likely I´d have to b/c with Th, although 31/6 would likely not bluff there, so b/f would also be fine

      best regards,
