I am trying to play some 20bb cap games on stars. I can't find any strategy material about this game. I am trying to figure out how it works.
The initial raiser has 15/15 stats and is very aggressive post flop after 203 hands. I don't want to get all in with AQo, and I don't like to flat in cap in general. However, in this hand, I thought I had position, and if I 3bet, I almost always have to go all in, so I decided to flat. Not sure about whether that is good.
Hand converted with online hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.25/$0.5 No-Limit Hold'em (8 handed)

      Known players:
      MP3 (Hero):

      Preflop: Hero is MP3 with A, Q.
      2 folds, MP2 raises to $1.00, Hero calls $1.00, 3 folds, BB calls $0.50.

      Flop: ($3.25) 9, 4, 5 (3 players)
BB checks, MP2 bets $1.50, Hero folds, BB calls $1.50.

      Turn: ($6.25) T (2 players)
BB checks, MP2 bets $7.50(All-In), BB folds, MP2 gets uncalled bet back.

      Final Pot: $6.25.

      Hey liguolong :)

Basically a 20bb cap strategy is just like the SSS , there is plenty of material on the website for you if you look for SSS :)

With that having said, I prefer to 3bet preflop for value because he minraises.

The reason I do not like the flat is that you might get it multiway which decreases your potential. furthermore you will miss the flop often which needs some sort of compensation in order to ensure profit

      Best regards,
