      Hi BGawli,

      well for me it is not acceptable

      You are on the button and therefore you have the position for the rest of the hand. You decided to 4bet and i think you decided to do that for value and not as a bluff....

      well if you see him 4 betting monsters and folding weaker hands i think it is better to just call his 3 bet and with this you can achieve that worse aces stay in the hand or even kings.

      As played i would call his shove.

      I would just call there as he seems to be 4betting small.
      If I would decide to 4bet I would also call a shove.

      I don't know why but I didn't see call option during this hand :(
      Sometimes many things go away from my mind like in this example...
      so it was easy call decision pre flop because we have position postflop and even his 10% range we are favorite 58-42.
      Yeah horrible 4B and more horrible fold vs his shove.
      Disaster hand.

      I exactly know what you are talking about. We are all still on the learning path and poker this days is not an easiest game.....how many hands i made and after it i was asking myself why did i that.....

      Well we just have to fight with ourselves just to make such mistakes as few as possible:)

      Hello BGawli,

      There is no way I am going to turn my AK into bluff here vs BB who could be easily 3betting loose there. Doesn't make sense to fold after investing so with 4bet. If you plan to 4bet then it means you want to play for the stacks.

      If not then rather just Call and keep weaker Ax hands and maybe even worse holdings in the play.

      Oh and your 4bet doesn't have to be that big, ~2,5x should be fine, especially you having the position. :)

      Lets say he has something like QQ+,AK:

             Equity     Win     Tie
      UTG    38.82%  18.15%  20.68% { AdKc }
      UTG+1  61.18%  40.50%  20.68% { QQ+, AKs, AKo }

      We already get the equity since we would need only ~33%.

      Best Regards.
