      when you are in position and you have a hand with some showdown value (a hand that can win a showdown) which is the case of your middle pocket pair, it's a good ideia to bet the turn to have a free showdown, since oponent will most of the time check to you on the river, and then you can check behind :) also, he may be more willing to pay you off with a lower pocket pair or a 8x hand before some scare card comes on the river.

      Hello Tombic,

      He may easily have draws and even worse PPs there on the turn, therefore rather Bet yourself and protect your hand and do it for free showdown.
