      Should I make the river bet smaller? So maybe get a call from weak Ax hands?

      if I hold Ax here I wouldn't call so large bet on the river, I mean with pair of aces, on the board where there is possible flush and fh.
      Imo it's rather obvious that u hit the river as u scream it with your bet. I'd bet here little bit less then 1/2 of the pot to suggest Ax type of hands and make him think he might be better.

      Nah, I doubt that your play is very bad here. If he is a loose opponent then should be fine, although I guess I'd Bet a bit smaller ~$2 should do it. :P
