My Flop Raise is still too small here, should be betting Pot, don't think there is much I can do after the turn, i was prepared to fold to any more raises.

      UTG: $11.89 (118.9 bb)
      MP: $10.44 (104.4 bb)
      CO: $19.99 (199.9 bb)
      Hero (BTN): $24.30 (243 bb)
      SB: $10 (100 bb)
      BB: $19.72 (197.2 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with T 9
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.35, SB folds, BB calls $0.25

      Flop: ($0.75) J Q 8 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.60, BB calls $0.60

      Turn: ($1.95) J (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.20, BB raises to $2.40, Hero calls $1.20

      River: ($6.75) Q (2 players)
      BB checks, Hero checks

      Results: $6.75 pot ($0.30 rake)
      Final Board: J Q 8 J Q
Hero mucked T 9 and lost (-$3.35 net)
      BB showed J K and won $6.45 ($3.10 net)

      Hi, MattDenness.

      Unfortunate river indeed.

Well, I do think you could have bet flop bigger indeed. As you said, anything up to pot.

Turn gets trickier... but it's unlikely that he plays check/call with 88, JJ or QQ on that board multiway; we're only losing to QJ, which is very small part of his range so I'm at least calling turn as well and calling any river BUT a double paired river card (another Q or 8).

If the opponent is bad enough you might even considering shipping turn as they're not folding any J, ever (and we have many more AJ/KJ/TJ than QJ) - but just as long as we couple that with it being unlikely he plays check/call with sets on the flop. But that's quite thinner so you can disregard my digression here as well :D

      Hello MattDenness,

Not a huge fan actually of calling the turn unless you are sure of your river line. For example what was your plan there? Did you plan to Call on blank? Did you plan to fold or what was it? I would still contain even 88/J8/QJ type of hands in his range.

      Best Regards.
