When I get donked into I for less than 2/3 pot I almost always assume that my opponent is on a draw. Therefore I am often raising in these types of spots for value and protection.

Raise:The problem is with such few hands on villain I think I would have to raise/fold in this spot. I get value/protection from draws if I raise and maybe I even get a fold from a weak king?

Call: I can call and re-evaluate the turn, but won't I have to give up if he barrels, because I think this type of player can easily donk Flop and Turn with a king or a draw.

      Hello muel294,

I like the idea of raising here, either way it's fine. Call wouldn't be a problem and neither raising ain't wrong. Those kind of donks usually are rather week, so well played.

      Best Regards.
