Steal when the blinds are worth stealing.
Loosen up in the middle stages.
      Win your coinflips!

Be careful in the early going if it's unlimited re-buys for the first hour. If it's 1r+1a than take Manni's advice.

The unlimited re-buy tourneys are crazy for the first hour. Some guys will go AI with ATC and just keep buying back in and doing it all again. If that's the case, play as tight as humanly possible. Doubling up once in that time is a good start.

Good luck! Report after on how it goes.

      :D

Ok guys i just crushed out.. I had AKs (i had 25000 in chips) 2000 / 4000 blinds was on th CO and went all in, the BB called and everyone folded.

I show AK and he Show AQ and he hit his Q on the flop and i go out in 150th position..

Well not bad for my first ever MTT... but disappointed i could not at least get into the money...

Tough bust-out there, but good showing overall!

You going to play MTT's more often?

Rebuys aren't all that bad if you can stand the gamblers. I always set myself allowance for at least 2 rebuys. So 3x the initial buyin = 100x this figure for BRM.

The upside about rebuys is that the prize pool distribution is based on the amount of players and not the amount of buyins/rebuys. Which means a whole lot more cash in the pool for the same amount of players.

i think you will find that a lot of you will be playing far too tight early on. you want to take as many +chip EV decisions as you can. at the very least stay close to the average chips for the tournament. you're aiming for the first 3 (that's where most of the money is!) so don't worry about cashing.

btw, this way variance will also be super sick :P .
