      Why not bet the turn for free showdown?because the kicker is too weak?

      Since I have a bad kicker I took pot control. So I could aswell induce smaller bluffs on the river. If I bet the turn I will have a hard time calling the river if he leads out.

      We don't want to value-down ourselves against very strong hands. Neither I don't know much about the opponent, so taking pot control is also totally fine and maybe even sometimes inducing bluffs.
