Stats: Not enough on villain. (49 hands)
      At this table, I'm showing 14/14/8 v/p/af

Party, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 7 Players

      MP3: $2.03 (101.5 bb)
      Hero (BTN): $2.10 (105 bb)
      CO: $2 (100 bb)
      SB: $2 (100 bb)
      MP2: $3.83 (191.5 bb)
      BB: $3.42 (171 bb)
      MP1: $5.25 (262.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with 9 T
4 folds, Hero raises to $0.08, SB folds, BB calls $0.06

      Flop: ($0.17) K 7 8 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.13, BB calls $0.13
My intention here was to semi-bluff. Villain hesitated > 30 seconds before calling.
Kx is possible, but there are a lot of draws in here that might call.

      Turn: ($0.43) K (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.27, BB folds
My thinking runs like this: If want to look like I'm betting for value, I have to bet "for value" again. If I check behind here, I'm admitting I was bluffing on the flop. Also, in case he DOES call again, I still have good outs on the river.

Was this a sensible 2nd barrel?
Villain folded here, so I have no idea what he really held.

      Hello VorpalF2F,

Nope, I am not a huge fan of 2nd barreling there, neither the sizing isn't really representing the Kx. :) If you had the K you would most likely bet it bigger. He will rarely lay down here any made hand which is either a pair or PP. I would Check behind there, especially on those limits.

      Best Regards.
