      PokerStars - $0.02 NL (9 max) - Holdem - 9 players
      Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

      Hero (CO): $2.00
      BTN: $3.06
      SB: $0.87
      BB: $5.53
      UTG: $3.15
      UTG+1: $2.00
      MP: $6.98
      MP+1: $2.00
      LP: $2.00

      SB posts SB $0.01, BB posts BB $0.02, MP+1 posts DB $0.02

      Pre Flop: (pot: $0.05) Hero has Q:heart: Q:club:

      UTG raises to $0.08, fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.24, fold, fold, fold, UTG calls $0.16

      Is it a good idea to 3bet QQ to an utg raise? Since there isn't much that a sensible player would raise from that position

      He's playing NL2, you have no stats on him, how can you say he is sensible? :D

      Anyway jokes apart, Ideal raising range from UTG (sensible player) would be AA,KK,QQ,JJ,TT,AK.

             Equity     Win     Tie
      UTG+2  47.63%  46.25%   1.38% { TT+, AKs, AKo }
      MP1    52.37%  50.99%   1.38% { QQ }

      Had he had only AA,KK,QQ,AK and assuming he is sensible he'd 4-Bet you or shove since he is out of position already and wouldn't want to enter the flop with a disadvantage. So I think you're good to go with your QQ 3-Bet here. Had he raised further or shoved you could fold.

      Hello Duchesst,

      Nah, seems to be fine and I wouldn't mind. He definitely is capable of calling with a lot worse hands there. :)

      Best Regards.
