Since the rumor is that Group Bernard Tapie is likely to step away from investing in Full Tilt because the Full Tilt debtors are scum - unwilling to pay their debts - I want to start some positive Motivation for GBT to get this deal done, because i am sure the huge Full Tilt customer base likely isn't such scum as these fucking red "Pros"!

Most of the player base is likely to come back to play and we should come out and let GBT know that we will do that and that their is value in restarting this business!

So lets make this a huge thread stating that you are ready for action on FT and what you are about to generate in rake if Full Tilt restarts!

"Full Tilt owes me ~4,5k, I usually pay an amount in rake close to this within one year, so if you pay me you will have that generated back within just one year!" must be going to be profitable within a few years, my guess is that the situation is likely to be the same with most customers!

Gbt isn't going to pull out of the deal because pros owe the old FTP some cash..... you are reading way to far into rumors...

I havent read any rumors and i too think GBT is trying to back out of the deal.

Why? Because they're making a big deal over some people owing FTP money. I dont understand how can this be and obstacle, GBT agreed to buy FTP for $80M and to pay out X amount owed to players, and after they discover FTP is owed Y amount money by some people, they, instead of being happy that there is a possibility they could reduce their cost of buying FTP by Y (or whatever amount they could get back) and push for the deal to be signed ASAP, they start acting like this is a huge roadblock and they cant buy FTP until it's resolved. I would expect that reaction if FTP owed money TO someone, in that case i would completely understand if they reacted like this.

Anyway that's how i see it, this is and excuse they waited for a long time so they can bail out of the deal, if they were seriously interested in buying FTP it would be up and running by now, instead of dragging it back and forth like a soap opera for months.

      FEB 1st 2012

After 2 and a half months of silence at last an update, DEAL WILL BE SIGNED BY THE END OF FEB (wtf wasnt it signed 2 and 1/2 mons ago?????)

      http://http://www.pokerstrategy.com/news/world-of-poker/Full-Tilt-Update:-D eal-By-End-of-Feb,-Players-Suit-Dismissed,-Ferguson-Settles-_56198/

      FEB 2nd 2012

Money owed to FTP puts the deal in jeopardy (cant see why that's relevant if the price was agreed upon already, or how the hell GBT finds out about this only now, several months into negotiations???)

      http://http://www.pokerstrategy.com/news/world-of-poker/Exclusive:-Groupe-Bernard-Tapie-Unable-to-Collect-Owed-Funds-from-Several-Pros_56256/

      Late MARCH/early APRIL

Again some incredible news about deal signed/or about to be signed, but in reality they're just repeating statements from NOV and FEB

      Mid JUNE

A year has passed since FTP was closed and it still isnt back, GBT still silent/or posting another sensational news about deal being nearly signed

      SUMMER

GBT is either still silent(this time for good) or there is statement they backed out of the multimillion dollar deal because site was owed 1987$ 64cents by some RED pro, and it was a deal breaking obstacle

PLEASE MISTER TAPIE CUT THE CRAP AND EITHER CLOSE THE DAMN DEAL AND REOPEN THE SITE, YOU HAD MORE THAN ENOUGH TIME TO DO IT, OR GET THE HELL OUT!

I don't think for a moment that GBT did really wanted this deal to happen in the first place. Why? Because there's no way it would take this much time to do so.

And there's no way anyone else would buy FTP if GBT steps off, no one is that stupid.

I think this whole FTP Saga will end up being nothing but an ugly reminder that people can get away with stealing, lying and bullshitting.

So why spend the millions of dollars on due diligence and lawyers fees? GBT wins uberTroll award 2011/12?
