I may be a dumbass, but being short stack I would be all-in on the flop. Maybe even preflop. But on the flop for sure.

With that stack you should have shoved or folded pre. Tough beat tho. Shove the turn would have been the only other way to play. Heart and straight draws out there by then and if you were sure you had the best hand, put it in.

      hey kai1223,

This thread was created in the Beginner's Questions Forum, but it should rightfully belong in the hand evaluation forums. I think it's time you discovered them and put them to good use! Matt has already kindly moved your thread there in his link above. Next time, that is where you will want to create your thread so that our awesome hand judges can see it and comment on it :)

Also it helps if you take a look at our hand evaluation rules. ive highlighted a few below, but you can read the link for more info :)

      4. Write an informative headline.
Your headline should include the limit, variation and situation at hand. Here is an example:
$1 SNG- KJs with 1 limper with <10bb, shove preflop?

      5. Use a hand converter.
Nothing is more painstaking and time consuming than trying to piece together the pieces of an unconverted hand.
You can use the Hand Converter to convert hands from the most popular poker platforms: Poker Hand Converter

These rules help our hand evaluation forum run more smoothly. Thanks so much for your cooperation. If you have any questions, dont hesitate to let me know ;)

The Turn can't change much - I see no reason to check here, although I havn't played Sit & goes for a while I would probably second barrel the turn for sure.

As played - I don't think you can do much but call on the river. If the board pairs, usually your absolute hand strength increases - but relatively your in bad shape facing aggression on a pairing river card most of the time, but against a min-raise I would probably have to call to - as he is doing this with any mid-high pocket pair when the board pairs in my experience.

But this hand, you should raise pre-flop, and there is no way the BB is calling you with 84o - and because you didn't raise is the only reason he got lucky with his trash hand - I feel fine isolating the EP limper with KJs

A pre-flop raise probably would have taken this down pre-flop.

When you let the BB take a free flop - he can have any 2 so it's tough to determine if he's playing back at you or if he had a good hand - either way, blinds are made to be stolen imo and that's the best line in this case

Hope this helps! Check out the post from purplefizz for optimal hand posting instructions next time - good luck at the tables!
