      Why would I commit more to the pot if he is holding a K Q and why give him a free card with AJ etc.

      I don't understand your response so please tell me what you would have done.

      Why would I commit more to the pot if he is holding a K Q and why give him a free card with AJ etc.

      Because we do the same bets with made hands and non-made hands. ;) Your fold equity is also smaller with smaller bets. Easy to exploit you.

      So in short I should have either checked that flop OR simply continued with a standard 3/4 bet? No need to limit the bet out of 'fear'?

      If he has something, he is going to call. If not, there is nothing you can do.

      If he does have something, you want to start biulding up the pot and take stack him! :evil:

      Why 3/4? like $0,14-0,16 should do the work there. :)
