[NL2-NL10] Very uncomfortable calling this check/raise

      Hero (MP2): $5.47 (109.4 bb)
      MP3: $3.05 (61 bb)
      CO: $1.71 (34.2 bb)
      BTN: $5.80 (116 bb)
      SB: $3.40 (68 bb)
      BB: $3.11 (62.2 bb)

      Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A K
      UTG+1 raises to $0.10, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.40, 5 folds, UTG+1 calls $0.30

      The opponent's PFR is 8 and he min raises pre-flop from UTG+1 so I figured he'd have something and was prepared to fold to a 4-Bet however he just called my 3-Bet.

      Flop: ($0.88) 9 4 K (2 players)
      UTG+1 checks, Hero bets $0.78, UTG+1 calls $0.78

      Quite passive with AF 1.1 so his check was nothing different. I had to protect so I raised almost to the pot size and his call wasn't unexpected either.

      Turn: ($2.44) 3 (2 players)
      UTG+1 checks, Hero bets $1.60, UTG+1 raises to $3.64 and is all-in, Hero calls $2.04

      Check was quite predictable again. His WTSD is also rather high so I figures he'd call me down to the river. I don't remember why I raised less here. I guess I figured that I was ahead and was value betting here. Should have actually protected my hand as there were 2 FDs now. His Check/Raise I did not see coming and it stunned me. The turn really didn't complete any draws so his C/R here didn't make sense unless he had a set or AA,KK. AA,KK was ruled out as he would have tried to shove pre-flop. Set perhaps he should have protected on the flop itself or perhaps C/R on the flop but again he's passive. The only reason I called was cause his play kinda didn't make sense but I was very uncomfortable calling a Check/Shove on the turn by such a passive player. What would you have done?

      Results: $9.72 pot ($0.64 rake)
      Final Board: 9 4 K 3 7
      UTG+1 showed Q Q and lost (-$4.82 net)
      Hero showed A K and won $9.08 ($4.26 net)

      Well actually in retrospect he couldn't have a set since he wouldn't open raise with 44 or 99 with a PFR of 8 from UTG+1. So he either had to have AA or KK either of which he should have 4-Bet with pre-flop. So I guess I didn't have much to worry about at this stage with my TPTK. What do you think Veriz?

      We ain't getting away here anyways. It's a 3bet pot for us and the opponent is pretty loose. He could easily even have worse Kx hands there and we are getting great odds.
