it's been a while since i posted a hand for evaluation here.

but this just can't get out of my mind.

      what would you do??

      UTG: $16.80 - VPIP: 17, PFR: 11, 3B: 0, AF: 1.0, Hands: 54
      SB: $13.53 - VPIP: 20, PFR: 17, 3B: 13, AF: 3.6, Hands: 102

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is BTN with A  K
UTG raises to $0.30, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.30, SB calls $0.25, 1 fold

      Flop: ($1.00) 8 :spade: K :diamond: 5 :club: (3 players)
SB bets $0.75, UTG calls $0.75, Hero calls $0.75

      Turn: ($3.25) T :diamond: (3 players)
SB bets $2.43, UTG calls $2.43, Hero ?????

my gut feeling tells me to call. but my other side is saying, better just fold. at worst, he has KQ or KJ here but how about the UTG? my other side is telling me to just fold and save the money, just watch the action. UTG is somewhat tight and SB has rather good preflop stats also, and it's more likely he has pocket sets there. would he bluff OOP 3-way and 2nd barrel on turn with a medium hand? quite unlikely. hmmmmmmmm

I don't think TPTK is much good here.

SB donks 3way on the flop and then passive pfa calls the donk. The donk is 3/4 pot, which looks very strong as well.

I can see calling the flop IP, but when it continues on the turn, you are up against at least one set here I think. Get out while it costs you very little.

From my small experience, players like sb tend to donkbet drawing hands or too strong hands in multiway pots. So,since the flop doesn't have any draws (the only hand drawing is 67) and since he continues his aggresion to the turn he might be holding something very strong. Also, the call from utg makes the decision to fold easier. However,I believe that you should have 3bet preflop.

      Hello YinYangS,

Calling the flop is fine but I would usually just Fold the turn, especially while you are even in 3way pot. Of course time to time you going to face worse hands but don't be result oriented. ;)

      Best Regards.

But just ask how many hands do you beat there. :D Practically this is going to be just one of the rare situations. :D

Sadly, this is probably a reflection of some of my bad play, and afterwards i would naturally say to myself..... why did i do it, but in the heat of battle i would have probably 3bet the flop to squeeze and look to fold if it was 4bet.

      Don't bag me..... i know it's wrong :D
