Ever said any by mistake? Got some funny looks? Share!

      Here is one of mine.

A guy I work with plays Poker too, we was all getting laid off for a few days due to low numbers at our Hotel.
We got handed our Rotas and he realised he had been given less work than everyone else.
So he went up the the boss to ask about it, his first line was...
"I've been given the short stack here"

I do from time to time, no one ever gets me :(

For example, I have two dogs, one beautiful 3 year old german shepherd girl, and one russian toy terrier/Pomeranian mix puppy of 17 months.

Obviously, with a 20:1 size advantage, you'd expect the big one to be the bully..

But when snapping this picture(Sorry it's slightly blurred), I said out loud "Look at the stones on that one, short-stack shoving all-in against the chipleader!"

My friends and I used to use terms when talking about women.

A ugly girl is a 'snap muck' and a hot girl is 'all in'. Then theres the 'sigh calls' etc .

Then there's 'life run good' like getting served first at a bar.

Or you can be 'pot committed', say you have been waiting for your food for over half a hour, you cant just get up and leave cause your pot committed now that you've waited so long.

If someone is telling a obvious lie, I sometimes say

      Nice bluff, I call

I liked our Skype exchange the other day:

"I'm going to get a Kinder Egg and have a cigarette, is this relevant to your interests?"
      "I call."

Also when my friend told me he had proposed to his girlfriend, my automatic reaction was "sick value bet!"

      I know, that's just my typical usage :P !

      Recent RL example:

Friend goes to disco to pick up hot chics: + EV! :f_biggrin:

Friend get's glasses knocked off his face and broken on to the floor: bad beat :f_cry:

Admittedly, not wearing contact lenses in the first place was -EV... :P

Guy goes to club, buys a drink to some random girl. Buying the drink and some bluffs were all +EV. They go to hotel, have some sex. After 6 weeks girl call the guy. Dude realises that going all-on without condom must be the biggest bad beat ever!
