      Hi all
Well I have had a pokerstartegy account for a few years now but never really used it except for keeping up with news in the poker world. My poker background is mostly playing sngs, mtt's and now almost exclusively mtt sng (45 man). I still play low stakes, the $3.50's on stars and do have a positive roi in them of around 10%. Moved back to stars whe FT shut for row players and was playing the $3 90 man ko's there with a 42% roi (wow I so miss FT).

Have decided to become more active on P strategy to hopefully improve my game and finally move up to stakes where I can feel good telling people what level I grind at. I am hoping to find some "study buddies" or a study group on here as many of the people I know have pretty much given up on online poker and now just grind it live.

      Hey,

Last few days are great regarding the weather and that it is just Feb.
Hopefully the rain that will come soon will be with the sun.

Used to grind SNG's - good for building a roll. It's OK to tell people that you play $1 SNG, I would not bother about the reactioin as long as you winning.

      GL!

Thanks for the welcome eudodo. The weather was ok but had taken a turn for the worst when I posted.
I am not too bothered about playing low stakes but hopefully soon I will move up anyway.

If you want to make money from poker, and want to make a living of poker and want to be able to call yourself a poker pro, while making millions. Then the first thing you need to do, is forget about making money, or turning pro, or becoming that popular player.

You need to ignore the people that say your great,
You need to ignore the people that say your awful,
You need to Love, not like, LOVE Poker,
You need to study your hands,
You need to study like you've never studied before,
You need to not worry about what limit your at, or what others think of you,
      You will eventually get higher,
You will then be laughing at them,
      You will then become 'Poker'.

      :D haha...

But bankroll management is the most important part of poker.. Trust me, i learnt the hardway.

      Anyway..
What part of sunny England you from? Im currently living in Birmingham.

As I read all that Spungeh I could hear it in my head with the voice over the guy on the new stars ad's! Maybe you should email them with new ideas for their next commercials :)

Anyway, thanks for the advice it all sounds pretty good. As for BRM I am a bit of a bankroll nit I used to keep 300bi for the 90 mans on FT, oh how I am regretting that now lol

I am from just outside manchester. I played in Birmingham about 4 years ago at the broadway.

Thanks, didn't realize it was against the rules. As for where I am from I am from just outside manchester. I am grinding on stars now pretty much exclusively the 45 mans. If you know anyone that wants to talk about grinding them point them in my direction, thanks.
