Micro Rake

Well guys, since its the end of the month was doing a major analysis on hands won\lost and Im just a little confused by the rake charges at poker770. Im not sure if this is right but maybe someone can explain it to me ?

0.01/0.02 No-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with A , 4
MP2 calls \$0.02, Hero raises to \$0.09, CO folds, BU calls \$0.09, 2 folds, MP2 calls \$0.07.

Flop: (\$0.30) A , 4 , 3 (3 players)
MP2 checks, Hero bets \$0.2, BU calls \$0.20, MP2 calls \$0.20.

Turn: (\$0.90) 4 (3 players)
MP2 checks, Hero checks, BU bets \$0.67, MP2 calls \$0.67, Hero raises to \$2.00 (All-In), BU raises to \$2.43 (All-In), MP2 raises to \$1.71 (All-In).

River: (\$7.04) Q (3 players)

Final Pot: \$7.04

Results follow:
MP2 shows (Ac Tc)
Hero shows a full-house, fours full of aces (Ad 4d)
BU shows a full-house, threes full of fours (3h 3s)

Hero wins with a full-house, fours full of aces (Ad 4d)
BU wins with a full-house, threes full of fours (3h 3s)

_________________________________________________________

So this hand I win the main pot & I assume BU gets a rebate of \$0.41. So the POT should be somewhere about \$6.61 and in my analysis it says I have won \$3.88. Was the rest raked? thats almost more than 40%

From Short Handed to Full Ring

0.01/0.02 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with A , K
UTG1 folds, UTG2 raises to \$0.08, 2 folds, Hero calls \$0.08, 3 folds, BB calls \$0.06.

Flop: (\$0.25) A , J , 7 (3 players)
BB checks, UTG2 bets \$0.12, Hero raises to \$0.29, BB calls \$0.29, UTG2 calls \$0.17.

Turn: (\$1.12) 6 (3 players)
BB checks, UTG2 checks, Hero bets \$0.8, BB calls \$0.80, UTG2 raises to \$1.95 (All-In), Hero raises to \$1.74 (All-In), BB raises to \$1.51 (All-In).

River: (\$6.32) 2 (3 players)

Final Pot: \$6.32

UTG2 shows a pair of aces (Ac Qs)
Hero shows a pair of aces (Ah Ks)

UTG2 wins with a pair of aces (Ac Qs)
Hero wins with a pair of aces (Ah Ks)

And as per analysis after rake I get \$3.60

I know all these are Multiway pots, but its almost the same kind of rake charges.
Bit confused.

Hey there, RazDirk!

First of all, I believe that Poker770 and all of iPoker only changed the Rake and VIP point distribution to Weighted Contributed, and not made any actual changes to the rake amount at all.

This basically only affects how VIP points are awarded and not how much rake is charged per pot.

Your tracking software is telling you how much in +NET Profit you made.

In hand #1, if the pot was \$6.61, as you said, and you had invested \$2.29 based on the hand history provided, this comes to \$4.32. If your net profit was \$3.88 this comes to a total rake of \$0.44.

Same for the second hand, you invested \$2.11 to win a \$6.32 pot, leaving \$4.21 in profit and rake. (And seemingly a \$0.21 rebate for the person who had you covered by as much and was All-in)

Just using this as an example based on the provided hand history, hopefully you get the drift.

Regards,
Richard
