      Hero (BTN): $25.25 -
      SB: $25.84 - VPIP: 23, PFR: 20, 3B: 9, AF: 2.5, Hands: 553
      BB: $30.43 - VPIP: 34, PFR: 14, 3B: 6, AF: 1.3, Hands: 196

Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero is BTN with K :club: A :diamond:
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.75, 1 fold, BB calls $0.50

      Flop: ($1.60) K :spade: J :diamond: 8  (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.26, BB calls $1.26

      Turn: ($4.12) Q :spade: (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $2.77, BB calls $2.77

      River: ($9.66) 8 :club: (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $4.52, BB raises to $11.50, Hero folds

Villain needs to call me 50% of the time with worse value hands and on this board I think that the KT,AQ,QT combos that are calling are way less than 50% of his not folding range which has the KJ,KQ,AT,9T,QJ maybe some K8,J8,Q8s.

Did I make a mistake in the hand by valuebetting in a spot where very few worse combos are calling?

I think its really thin and I would opt to check behind here.

      Hello DeMarcohsp,

Not a great spot to pick the thin value on river. Too many hands beat us. I would rather just Check behind. Of course we could say that it's a thin value-bet while he has a wide range but now again the question is if we always should pick them without even knowing how loose he calls us down.

      Best Regards.
