Reads: Villian is nitty running 12/5, hows my line?

      Poker Stars $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em - 5 players

      CO: $78.00
      BTN: $81.70
      SB: $50.00
      Hero (BB): $50.45
      UTG: $34.35

Pre Flop: Hero is BB with 7 T
UTG calls $0.50, 2 folds, SB calls $0.25, Hero checks

      Flop: ($1.50) 8 9 6 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1, UTG calls $1, SB calls $1

      Turn: ($4.50) Q (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $4, UTG folds, SB calls $4

      River: ($12.50) K (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $10, SB raises to $44.50 all in, Hero folds

My opinion, bet more on flop, for value, since we dont want to have to overbet river. My line for river would be, check for bluffinduce, and call a bet thats not all in, or otherwise a huge overbet. I don't like to valuebet a river when I'm not calling a push. I guess bet/call river is good. If you bet flop bigger, odds get better on it too.

Sorry why aren't you calling river? There is one hand that beats you. What is SB's AF? 0.1?

Oh =) In that case it looks like appropriate bet sizes on a drawy flop/turn, maybe 1.30 on the flop. Bet/call/shove river, maybe bet potsize instead.

I don't see how this is not a call.

Why is villain playing check/call all the way down if he has you beat? I see the potential for slowplaying JT, but if so, his c/c line on the turn is very odd, not to mention a huge overbet-push on river... of course now that I say it I can see him on that line, but I think 2pair would be more likely.

If it's me, I call and hope this is not a cooler.

mhh, such a nitty guy could play any set like that. Do you know his AF?
If I had enough reads to narrow his range to 88, 99, 66, JT, I would check/call, since he will have a better hand 58% of the time.

tons of other things to consider though:
99 might be in his open range
AKd might be in his range, since 2.5% PFR doesn't include AK
he would likely raise JT on the turn, while could still call with a set) some people fear FD's too much)
So if I think at least 60% of the time my hand will be better, I go for c/r.

Didn´t find a way how I could find on the river, but there aren´t not many hands that would play that strong.
I like both flop and turn and river bets.

Just JT is 12 possible combinations, which is the majority of his range...
No fold possible, of course, but I would slow down with betting the river. Depends on the guy and reads we have, imo
