About me, I'm 19, from southern Ontario and have been playing for about a year and 1/2. Started off with NLHE cash, messed around with SNG's/MTT's and PLO for a while and have settled on NLHE SH with a little bit of MTT's mixed in. Started a blog before but never made it to the 2nd post, promise I won't do that with this :D . Currently shot-taking at NL50 and had a good first session, only played like 400 hands but won a couple buy-ins.

Hopefully this blog will motivate me to put in more volume, I usually 2-3 table and only play 4 or more when I'm not tired and playing my A-game or playing MTT's. Feeling really confident with my game right now, getting coaching and get a database review from a 200NL crusher every 50k hands but part of that deal is I have to play 20k hands/month minimum which should be easy as long as I don't get any of that winning tilt when you stop playing after you've won a couple stacks. :f_mad:

      Short-term Goals
:diamond: Get a 40k hand sample at NL50 with a decent winrate
:spade: Keep working on a couple of leaks I have
:diamond: Watch a video or two/post here or on DC everyday
:spade: Maybe get a small Skype group going
:diamond: Crush every shortstacker on 888 so they F off :rage:

      Long-term Goals
:spade: Become an established reg at NL100+ by the end off the summer
:diamond: Try out PLO again (rake is too brutal to play micro PLO imo)
      :spade: Increase number of tables

Giraffe of the last couple months or so

edit: mods lmk if my images are too big

Hope I continue to run hotter than the sun :s_biggrin:

Biggest hand that wasn't completely standard. Villain was a 34/23/6.3 3Bet (53 Hands). First time I've seen him donk, I can see him doing this with maybe 88-JJ/idk if he would do it with a 6 but I doubt it. But say I don't bink a miracle Q on the river and he pots it do I fold because I can't see him potting the river with very much, basically a 6 or air. Because I doub't he's turning any made hand into a bluff and sticking with that until proven otherwise. And if he checks the river I think I should make a small 1/2pot-ish value bet, anybody think I shouldn't? Thoughts ppl?

Todays session got off on a bad start, I ck/raised the flop with what I thought was a gutshot but it was actually air lol I misread the board and then the turn and river were too good to not keep firing but he raised the river :D . Had to take a brake after about 700 hands I was definitely starting to tilt. Put in some more hands after I calmed down and finished up a couple buyins.

Haven't updated in a while. Been breakeven over the last 3-4k hands, mostly because of stupid mistakes like typing in .9 to open raise at NL30 with A9o on the BTN and it somehow takes that as $9 and then I get shoved on by a nitty reg ofc. And Stuff like this...

      Monthly Summary
      NL30/50 +$715
      Tournies +$552

      BR - $2472

Think I'm going to takes shots at NL100 when I get 33 buyins hopefully this month. Also started adding some fullring tables when there aren't that many good tables and wow is it easier than 6max, 3 fish + 4 bad regs + 1 decent reg = $$$$$.

Haven't played at all this month up until two days ago, been studying/ watching vids like a mofo and feel like I've improved significantly, I think writing+ making notes on every video really helped me. I withdrew my roll from 888 because my first deposit bonus ran out and the rake is ridiculous. Since I reached my outgoing transaction limit on moneybookers I couldn't deposit anywhere until yesterday. Now I'm playing on MicroGaming with 30% rakeback and I deposited $250 on Stars because of the reload bonus + MicroGaming only has like 2k players on after 6pm here. Started with €360 on MicoGaming and I'll start playing NL10/20 until I get like €550+, then I think I be confortable enough to play NL50/drop down or deposit if needed, but more likely drop down.

      MicroGaming BR = €436
      Stars BR = $280

      Random Hands
      1. SB: $16.96 (169.6 bb)
      Hero (BB): $22.68 (226.8 bb)
      CO: $10.60 (106 bb)

      Flop: ($0.40) 5:diamond: 8:heart: 4:spade: (2 players)
SB bets $0.40, Hero raises to $1.30, SB raises to $16.76 and is all-in, Hero calls $15.46

      Turn: ($33.92) 2:club: (2 players, 1 is all-in)
      River: ($33.92) 5:club: (2 players, 1 is all-in)

Deepish vs a 61/21/10 3bet (107 Hands), was pretty aggressive/fishy pre (open raising 5/6x, calling raises when he had position on this other guy that had like 200bb even if the guy open raised like 7.5/9x), but he wasn't very aggresive postflop he only cbet 50% and hadn't had a chance to dbl barrel yet, was pretty sticky and defended every single sb/bb thus far. Seeing as he only minraised pre when I get it in here this deep I think it's a marginal winner/loser. I think he would make his normal ridiculous open raise sizes with all his pairs but it's still possible he could have PP's, he could be doing his 6x opens with 43o and minraising AA for all I know so if I give him a range of say 66,44,85s-84s,76s,85o-84o,76o, AA just for the sake of 6 combos of over pairs he may have.

      EV=.4773(18.46)-.5227(15.46)
      =8.81-8.08
      =.73

So small winner, but overall super +ev when he calls the flop with his gutters and random trash instead of jamming with the nuts we print money.

      Villain has QhTh
It's rare I get in AQs pre especially at nl10 and with only 36 hands on someone, but this is the 3rd time he's 3bet me and the 2nd time he's done it when I've iso'd the fish... I had to show him that was not going to continue to happen :s_cool: Then I got to tell him how much he got owned in chat after I hit the river :) , he was steamed and 3bet me the next orbit too when I got AA.

Villain is a 41/27/9 3bet (1.9k Hands). 39% raise first in on the CO,only folds to 3bets 22% of the time, folds to cbets in 3bet pots 45%, raises cbets in 3bet pots 13% (sample of 40), only has a 28 bet river so he rarely goes for thin value, and he will 4bet JJ/TT pre most of the time. I raise pre for value, bet flop for value and because I give away the pot otherwise and planning to continue on any club A or Q turn, bet turn and get some value if I'm ahead/fold vs a raise + plan on betting any club, A, or Q river. If I give him a range of 99-55, AQs-A2s, K7s+, Q7s+, J7s+, T7s+, 96s+, 85s+, 75s+, 64s+, 54s ,AdQc, AdQh, AdQs, AhQc, AhQd, AhQs, AsQc, AsQd, AsQh, AJo-A9o, K9o+, Q9o+, J9o+, T9o, 98o, 87o, 76o for getting to the flop (29.5%), after his flop+turn call I think he never has a set, two pair, he could have a straight but pretty rare. So he gets to the river with 99, A9s, K9s, Q9s, J9s, T8s-T7s, 97s, 85s, A9o, K9o, Q9o, J9o, 98o, the only hands he has to value bet on the river are 99, A8o, T9s, T8s, 98s, 85s (34 combos) VS. bluffs A9s, K9s, Q9s, J9s, A9o, K9o, Q9o, J9o (64 combos) + I'm getting aswesome odds on the call.

So tilted with how this todays session went, BR was up to like €465 and I seen I only needed to rake €5 more to get rakeback this week (u have to rake €30) so started with off running KK into AA at NL10, then took a short break and started 2 tables of NL20. Started out with QQ vs 99 against a fish on 5679x (he checked the turn with a dickload of straightdraws+ 2 flushdraws just so I could value own myself on the river with a 1/3 pot bet), every other single decent hand I got got the worst board runouts possible against 80/5 fish with like less than 30% fold to cbet who proceeded to pot every single river and then I found myself making a terrible river call on with AT on a AKJ9x board with a busted fd against unknown likely reggish player(yes I managed to put him on a barreled open ended straight draw or fd that he almost never has) so I just ended my session.

Lesson: fuck grinding just to get bonuses/rakeback i swear i get owned everytime i do this for more than the bonus/rb is worth

Started running like shit the other day, seemed like nearly everyone was able to pull a set out of their ass whenever they felt like it and/or go all in on the flop with some bottom pair ace kicker and bink the turn every time. So I played NL4 until that nonsense stopped. Now everything is going good again, also excited about getting coaching from either blah234 or FenderJaguar soon.
