Should I Check/Call or Check/Fold this river? The only hand I feel that could be beating me is 88/99. Not feeling to great about how I played this hand though :(

      Hero (MP): $27.44 (274.4 bb)
      CO: $29.78 (297.8 bb)
      BTN: $8.62 (86.2 bb)
      SB: $10.10 (101 bb)
      BB: $18.27 (182.7 bb)
      UTG: $9.85 (98.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with J K
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.35, CO folds, BTN calls $0.35, SB folds, BB calls $0.25

      Flop: ($1.10) K 9 8 (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.78, BTN calls $0.78, BB folds

      Turn: ($2.66) K (2 players)
Hero bets $1.80, BTN calls $1.80

      River: ($6.26) 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $3.90, BTN raises to $5.69, Hero calls $1.79

      Results: $17.64 pot ($0.79 rake)
      Final Board: K 9 8 K 7
Hero showed J K and lost (-$8.62 net)
      BTN showed J T and won $16.85 ($8.23 net)

Bet bigger on turn and shove river. :D Even as played you have a relatively easy shove on the river.

When he raises he has you beat 99% but you can't really fold given the ridiculous pot odds.

      Hello MattDenness,

If you planning to Call the river anyways then just bet it bigger on every street and ship yourself the river rather than Bet/Call it off. :P Another possibility if you really think that he wont have a lot worse hands which Call you and you still want him to make hero-calls with crap then block-bet/Fold $2 rather than $4 while you could just ship at the same time.

      Best Regards.
