Poker in Vegas

Hey all, I am taking a spring break trip in Vegas at the moment and am wondering where a good place to play poker is at? I'm staying at Circus Circus and saw they have some 40/65 dollar sit n go but the blind structure is pretty fast. I usually don't play very high stakes, and would be comfortable at .5/1 or 1/2 tables.

      Any tips?

      Hey SrCardgage,

It's been a nearly 5 years since I personally visited Las Vegas so it's probably all changed by now :(

Let's hope someone with current knowledge can give you some information :)

      Best regards,

The riviera is right accross the road, it's got tournies from about $30 up and $1-2NL

It was pretty soft and the table is just inside the door so it gets fishies. Although it's not the flashest place out

Watch out for fat old men that call with under-pairs and hit sets on the turn

Make sure you go to the grand canyon if you haven't before, was definitely worth the effort, the poker was pretty much just like poker in NZ (or anywhere else I assume) so get out and see the sites while you're there is a good review site

there is no .5/1 game the cheapest games are $1/2 or $1/3 games - well this is at casinos on the strip didnt really venture off the strip too much apart from freemont street but i just played blackjack etc there!

tourneys range different from casino to casino, at mgm there were some 50/60$ ones!

its fun no matter what, you'll love it!!

check out aria poker room, it was my fave
