I hate the way I played this hand.

      Preflop:

I assume that I am ahead with my hand and a raise is a better option than a call.

Postflop: should have probably just bet/folded once to force all the overcards out. I overvalued my hand on the flop forgetting that it is too hard to play OOP by just blindly calling down.

      Hello Avatars91,

Against a rather more aggressive opponent I would tend to rather CB myself here. Although the question is if we even should do that? Any 9x continue and maybe even overcards + of course he has so many Ax hands in his range. :( Might even make the crying fold time to time.

      Best Regards.

To raise this hand preflop and not to cBet a board that is as perfect for a cBet as this is not a big weakness?

And if we consider folding on a flop like this does it make sense to openraise this hand preflop?

Why? I could easily play with Ax as well the same way vs his stack. :)

His range hardly consist of a lot Axx hands here. Of course we could turn our hand into bluff! But I would only do that when I had some kind of overpair for the 9 here at least so not both overcards would be on the board.
