Poker Stars, $0.08/$0.16 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

      BTN: $15.60 (97.5 bb) 65/29/2.8/3.2/28/129 Fold to C-Bet Flop-47%
      SB: $16 (100 bb)
      BB: $16 (100 bb)
      UTG: $23.41 (146.3 bb)
      MP: $11.60 (72.5 bb)
      Hero (CO): $21.39 (133.7 bb) 12/8/2.0/0.0/22/61

Preflop: Hero is CO with T K
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.48, BTN calls $0.48, 2 folds

      Flop: ($1.20) A 4 T (2 players)
Hero bets $0.80, BTN calls $0.80

      Turn: ($2.80) A (2 players)
      Hero bets $1.73, BTN folds

Second Ace makes it more unlikely that he has one so I decide on a 2nd Barrell cause even if he calls I think I'm ahead of him.

      Results: $2.80 pot ($0.13 rake)
      Final Board: A 4 T A
BTN mucked and lost (-$1.28 net)
      Hero mucked T K and won $2.67 ($1.39 net)

It's true that you're ahead pretty often here, but what are you hoping to get value from with your bet?

I'm hoping to get value from 65/29. :D . He was calling down everything till the river. I'm surprised he folded here. :)

Wouldn't say he's that much of a calling station with a fold to flop cbet of 47%. That isn't too different from mine :s_grin:

Correct me if I'm wrong, VPIP 65 and WTSD 28 is quite loose isn't it. Had his VPIP been 30 with same WTSD then he would be going down to Showdown much lesser right?

Yeah he's pretty loose but I don't think you can assume he's going to showdown with complete trash. Most likely he has at least a pair each time he gets there :D . I doubt it would hurt too much to give him a free card on the turn to let him catch up, i doubt there is 3 streets of value there even vs a guy like that.

Nvm disregard what I said, thought we had an Ace. :D
Yeah I like the bet there, we need to protect our hand vs overcards.

      Hello maheepsangari,

If you are CBetting the flop then most likely I would also 2nd barrel the turn rather than turn my hand into bluff-catcher. He might even call down with worse PPs/Tx hands and maybe even GS.

But the question is on the flop if we should CB at all, do we get value from a lot worse?

      Best Regards.

Well like I said he was calling a lot at that moment with just anything. One time he called down with 72o just to show everyone at showdown that he had it. :D This is the funniest, he showed and folded KK on an AAA flop when I showed aggression. :D Dumbass.

I was C-Betting for value with my middle pair on the flop. On the turn I was quite sure that he didn't have an A and I wanted to get value and also not let him hit anything else or even make his calling me unprofitable even if he hits something so I second barreled.
