Poker Stars, $0.10/$0.25 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

      UTG: $71.92 (287.7 bb) 43/4/2.0/0.0/40/23
      MP: $49.13 (196.5 bb)
      CO: $38.41 (153.6 bb)
      BTN: $24.90 (99.6 bb)
      SB: $25.10 (100.4 bb) 16/9/1.1/1.7/30/163
      Hero (BB): $25 (100 bb) 10/10/8.0/0.0/0/23

Preflop: Hero is BB with J 2
UTG calls $0.25, 2 folds, BTN calls $0.25, SB completes, Hero checks

      Flop: ($1) 4 J 2 (4 players)
SB bets $0.75, Hero raises to $3.21, UTG calls $3.21, BTN folds, SB calls $2.46

      Turn: ($10.63) 8 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $6.75, 2 folds

Crap, flush draws complete. I really don't like my bet size. Should I bet higher to protect or bet lower to get information?

      Results: $10.63 pot ($0.48 rake)
      Final Board: 4 J 2 8
UTG mucked and lost (-$3.46 net)
SB mucked and lost (-$3.46 net)
      Hero mucked J 2 and won $10.15 ($6.69 net)

      Hi maheepsangari,

I like the flop ... However, I'd check turn. They don't have so many Jx or straight draw combinations to make it profitable.

      Hello maheepsangari,

FD completes on the turn, from how many worse hands do you get value there? :) It's still a freeplay pot and you are multiway there. Kind of overplayed 2pairs.

      Best Regards.

Ok so not even like a block bet on the turn? If I just check then I'm giving up on my two pair and will have to fold to a river bet.

The pot is already too big so most likely I'd plan to Check the turn and reevaluate his bet on the river. Vs small ones we might still be able to Call vs look like blocks.
