      Results follow:

      Hero shows a pair of eights(8 8).
      MP2 shows high card ace(J K).

Hero wins with a pair of eights(8 8).

After he leads so small on the flop I decided that I have the best hand and decided to raise him, he calls me and the ace comes so I decided to make another bet and he called me again so I put him on AX or pair and check'ed it down, but I think after he calls my re-raise on the flop and the ace comes I have to check it yes ?

      Hello NoMistakes,

Seems to be fine, as long he may even have draws there. Nice hand! Plus we could even make some better hands to fold as Tx. Rather bet the turn for free showdown and maybe even protection than Check it and Call the river.

      Best Regards.
