I decide to check behind flop as I cant rep much. I dont know why he would bet the Q if he has it as this is a card I am barreling 100% so I raise his bet-makes sense? Should I give up on the river or fire another bet to get him off a 5,7, 66-JJ?

I'm not sure if the turn reraise was good or not, but I think if he's calling the turn, then he's calling the river also.

      Hello jozata,

Doubt that he has a lot of 5x/7x in his flatting range on the BB. :) But as played if you think he is not rather such a player who could be hero-calling there sure, why not to play it this way. He has a lot of PPs in his range which might even fold to our play. Especially if he rather seems to be tighter side.

But you must also understand that such a card as Q could also hit his range. ;) Plus would you even raise with your Qx if you had it?

      Best Regards.

So how do you suggest I play the turn-try to rep a Q by calling and then attempt to steal the pot on the river/give up river if he shows more resistance?
Is just folding the turn too weak?
      Thank you :club:

No, I didn't say anything about calling. With calling you wont achieve much anyways. Either raise it or just fold it. Most likely I would be towards folding. Even CBetting is better on the flop than calling the turn.
