      badly played

      Everest - $0.05 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 4 players
      Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

      UTG: $6.78
      Hero (BTN): $5.06
      SB: $4.54
      BB: $4.77

SB posts SB $0.03, BB posts BB $0.05

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.08) Hero has 9:spade: K:spade:
      56/11/0.7af over 10 hands

fold, Hero raises to $0.16, SB calls $0.13, fold

      Flop: ($0.37, 2 players) 6:diamond: 7:club: 9:diamond:
SB bets $0.14, Hero raises to $0.41, SB calls $0.27
      pot control or protection?
      am i even protecting?

      Turn: ($1.19, 2 players) 2:diamond:
SB checks, Hero bets $0.69, SB calls $0.69
suddenly i switch to potcontrol mode, i wonder

      River: ($2.57, 2 players) A:club:
      SB checks, Hero checks
my plan was to checkbehind anyway, A just makes it easier
still on blank i probably should have bet 1/3~1/2 against this fishy-looking player without sample

SB shows A:diamond: 9:club: (Two Pair, Aces and Nines) (Pre 69%, Flop 87%, Turn 95%)
Hero shows 9:spade: K:spade: (One Pair, Nines) (Pre 31%, Flop 13%, Turn 5%)
      SB wins $2.41
even though it turned out to be right, longterm my play almost definitely sucked

      Hello Tomaloc,

With even a blank I would Check behind on the river. There is not much value for you while even FD completes. The only plan on the turn is that he is a station and we are betting it for protection and free showdown.

      Best Regards.
