i am a bit sleepy so no lengthy prose :f_confused:

      Everest - $0.05 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 3 players
      Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

      BB: $5.31
      BTN: $10.12
      Hero (SB): $8.46

Hero posts SB $0.03, BB posts BB $0.05

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.08) Hero has A:heart: 6:heart:

BTN calls $0.05, Hero raises to $0.20, fold, BTN calls $0.15
fish - 78/2/2af/54hands/56wwsf(41)/55w$sd(11), sometimes tries to pull random bluffs:

      Everest - $0.05 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 4 players
      Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

      SB: $5.34
      BB: $12.58
      UTG: $6.70
      Hero (BTN): $6.29

SB posts SB $0.03, BB posts BB $0.05

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.08) Hero has 8:diamond: T:heart:

fold, Hero raises to $0.16, fold, BB calls $0.11
this was a mistake, def shouldn't open this when he is on bb. else is fine though, miracle flop just vbeeetttt

      Flop: ($0.35, 2 players) J:spade: 9:spade: 7:spade:
BB checks, Hero bets $0.35, BB calls $0.35

      Turn: ($1.05, 2 players) 5:heart:
BB checks, Hero bets $1.00, BB calls $1.00

      River: ($3.05, 2 players) A:heart:
BB bets $1.00, Hero calls $1.00

BB shows T:spade: K:club: (High Card, Ace) (Pre 73%, Flop 50%, Turn 30%)
Hero shows 8:diamond: T:heart: (Straight, Jack High) (Pre 27%, Flop 50%, Turn 70%)
      Hero wins $4.73

      Flop: ($0.45, 2 players) T:club: 7:club: 4:diamond:
Hero bets $0.24, BTN calls $0.24
i have a shot at a weak cbet because the board is pretty dry, just 40foldcbet(5) though
[edit: these were my sleepy thoughts at the time. this is obviously not dry at all, and lots of random drawing hands hit some part of it]

      Turn: ($0.93, 2 players) A:diamond:
Hero bets $0.60, BTN calls $0.60

      River: ($2.13, 2 players) 8:club:
Hero checks, BTN bets $1.00, Hero...?
i thought about blockbetting $1 myself.
how many worse here? i hate it that fd completes
[edit: also some straightdraw and twopair combos, well dammit. so c/f should be fine i guess]

      Hello Tomaloc,

Check/Fold the flop, there is no point to even Bet at all! He is never folding. ;) But otherwise why do you Check the river? What kind of missed draws do you see even in his range there? If you want to do anything at all then it should be block-bet/Fold.

      Best Regards.

i didn't want to induce a bluff from him, just a checkbehind which i thought he still could do with worse hands.
when he bet i thought his range was "quite polarized" but then it came on me that it probably has quite many value hands while a lot of things complete.

was definitely playing my b-game that session :D but still earned a nice profit, i believe it was even profitable longterm - the secret is table selection :D

If you think he has worse hands and maybe even made hands then as I said, block-bet yourself.
