      Poker Stars $25.00 No Limit Hold'em - 5 players -

      UTG: $24.81 - VPIP: 29, PFR: 20, 3B: 6, AF: 1.8, Hands: 167
      Hero (CO): $67.55 -
      BTN: $25.22 - VPIP: 16, PFR: 14, 3B: 4, AF: 11.0, Hands: 134
      SB: $14.67 - VPIP: 39, PFR: 14, 3B: 0, AF: 3.8, Hands: 59
      BB: $34.05 - VPIP: 30, PFR: 18, 3B: 0, AF: 1.3, Hands: 61

Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero is CO with T :spade: 8 :spade:
1 fold, Hero raises to $0.75, 2 folds, BB calls $0.50

      Flop: ($1.60) 9 :spade: 5  9 :diamond: (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.00, BB raises to $2.75, Hero folds

As villain is not representing anything and as I did not have any reason to suspect that he will do this with a value hand atm of hand can I make a play by 3betting to ~ 6 on the flop?

Or better call and bet/raise ~ any turn?

Do you have info he plays back on pair boards?

If he does, I prefer check back and take it down on later streets. If he doesn't, you already have your answer. :D

My 2 cents: a 3bet is probably going to show a profit here and you can make it very small. $5.50 definitely enough since you are trying to make him fold air, no need to go with big bets when you are bluffing people off air.

      Hello DeMarcohsp,

Most likely I wouldn't try to overplay loose-passive opponents either. Rather just let it go and wait for better spot. :) We don't have any information so far that he is capable of playing back against us and definitely 9x is possible in his range.

      Best Regards.
