      Poker Stars $25.00 No Limit Hold'em - 5 players -

      BTN: $25.65 - VPIP: 29, PFR: 20, 3B: 6, AF: 1.8, Hands: 167
      Hero (SB): $46.15
      BB: $25.00 - VPIP: 16, PFR: 14, 3B: 4, AF: 11.0, Hands: 134
      UTG: $9.75 - VPIP: 39, PFR: 14, 3B: 0, AF: 3.8, Hands: 59
      CO: $30.86 - VPIP: 30, PFR: 18, 3B: 0, AF: 1.3, Hands: 61

Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero is SB with A :club: Q :spade:
UTG raises to $0.75, 1 fold, BTN calls $0.75, Hero raises to $3.10, 2 folds, BTN raises to $7.50, Hero raises to $46.15, BTN calls $18.15 all in

It did not make sense for villain to have many monsters in his range in this spot because I would expect him to 3bet vs the fish open for value. Some AK and JJ/TT would expect to be the top of his range here.

Would you agree with this range?

I don't think he has AK too often since it's a hand that will 3bet a lot. He looks like AQ/AJ, TT, 99. I wouldn't discount premiums completely though since you might have a squeeze happy image and he isn't concerned about not getting UTG's stack on just about any board if he was willing to stack off pre.

That said, his 4bet sizes commits him so if you want to shove you have to check your equity vs his range and see how much money there is in the pot already.

      Hello DeMarcohsp,

Depends a lot what kind of image you had, did you squeeze there often? Because I would very often expect the BTN guy to have something like 99-JJ there which is flatting and then 4bet/Get it in -> so practically just flipping there.

      Best Regards.

And do we have other options of playing this vs 99-JJ?

Given that he might sometimes have some monsters here given Manu's reasoning should we be inclined to fold?

Well, I don't agree that the guy doesn't have AK in his flatting range. AK is also in his flatting range. And yes, I would be inclined to turn my hand into bluff here without any specific information what kind of image you had on the table.
