      Hi,

against 9/9 I think it is not the best idea.
But if think your hand is strong enough to c/c at least once or you can always lead yourself on the flop and turn

      best regards,

      Hello Sikac,

Check/Raising is there anyways pointless plan, you can never be sure where you stand even if he Calls you. He will almost always Call with just FD or whatsoever like A:cXx. Only option here would be to Check/Call it and reevaluate the turn, I would often expect him to Check behind.

We also have a pair+FD ourselves which might be even good.

      Best Regards.

But isnt the case that we see that some tendecies that he likes to barrel the turn aswell? Why question was due to the fact that with calling I will very likely and up in a very bad spot and you said once it doesnt make sense to call just once and fold on a blank turn against such a barreler.

You have showdown value, you have a FD yourself, so why not? With Check/Raising you are just building up the pot and I doubt that he is ever folding any PPs which have a draw themselves for the FD or any A anyways nor of course Kx which is in his UTG range.
