Villian is unknown. I have 5 hands on him with 40/0 and AF 4 which means he is a maniac or has had 2 big hands.

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.05/$0.1 No-Limit Hold'em (8 handed)

      Known players:
      UTG2 (Hero):

      Preflop: Hero is UTG2 with A, J.
      Hero raises to $0.40, MP1 folds, MP2 calls $0.40, 5 folds, 4 folds, 3 folds, 2 folds, BB folds.

      Flop: ($0.95) 4, 6, K (2 players)
Hero bets $0.80, MP2 raises to $2.00, Hero calls $1.20.

      Turn: ($4.95) 3 (2 players)
Hero checks, MP2 bets $1.00, Hero calls $1.00.

      River: ($6.95) 2 (2 players)
Hero checks, MP2 bets $1.00, Hero folds, MP2 gets uncalled bet back.

      Final Pot: $6.95.

      Preflop is ok IMHO.

On the flop I cbet hoping to fold out better hands (AQ) and have other hands which I am flipping against (TT-77) call whiles still getting good odds for my draw. I can bluff most, if not all, of these hands off on the turn.

I dont like villians raise. I cannot fold because I am getting better than 3:1 without implied odds. I do not like shipping because he is very unlikely to fold and I probably have 9 outs or if i am lucky 12 outs. According to me I have to invest $5.02 to win a pot of $12.99 which means I need about 38% equity.

Equilab tells me his preflop calling range is:
And if he gets it in with any flush draw and Second pair + then he will get it in with this range : "TT-77,KdQh,KdQs,KdQc,KsQd,KsQh,KsQc,KcQd,KcQh,KcQs,KdJh,KdJs,KdJc,KsJd,KsJh,KsJc,KcJd,KcJh,KcJs,KdQd,KsQs,KcQc,KdJd,KsJs,KcJc,QhJh,KdTd,KsTs,KcTc,QhTh,JhTh,Kd9d,Ks9s,Kc9c,Qh9h,Jh9h,Th9h,Jh8h,Th8h,9h8h,9h7h,8h7h,6d6s,6d6c,6s6c,4d4h,4d4c,4h4c"
I have 29.38% equity against that range.

      So I call.

The turn I play c/c. No point in betting or c/r as I have no fe. No point in folding as I am getting better than 6:1.

River blanks and I c/f. I have no s/d value.

Any advise as to how I could have played this better?
