      Hi!

      Villain 40/12 unknown

      Hero call or raise/broke?

Against what kind of villain do you prefer calling or raising? Against passive call and agro raise? I think the problem is that its hard to calldown when I dont improve, but have a great equity on flop.

      Thanks

      Hi,

I would definitely raise, bet big on the turn and then check back river if I don´t improve.
I want to fold out hands, that has equity against me (like KJ that may sometimes donk flop), also I want to fold out better hands (like 89) and if he has there Qx then I´m not that much behind and if I improve on the turn or river I can play for stacks.
Also he may always call with worse draws and my pair of 8-s would tkae down pot

      best regards,
