Hey,

You probably have experienced short term variance as this play is +EV with the given variables. Your squeeze preflop is fine and your shove on the Flop is perfect as well (far better than check/folding )

What is important is that you have to think critically and actively for yourself what is good in certain situations. This mostly takes experience.

The articles are only meant to introduce you to the topic & provide a basic framework.

Compare it to University versus High school where in University you have to do even more research in order to fully understand the concept.
