On Game, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 9 Players

      BTN: $49.64 (99.3 bb)
      SB: $75.42 (150.8 bb)
      BB: $33.36 (66.7 bb)
      UTG+1: $58.08 (116.2 bb)
      UTG+2: $35.51 (71 bb)
      Hero (MP1): $111.88 (223.8 bb)
      MP2: $59.01 (118 bb)
      MP3: $45 (90 bb)
      CO: $61.08 (122.2 bb)

      Preflop: Hero is MP1 with Q K
      UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 calls $0.50, Hero raises to $2, MP2 calls $2, 4 folds, BB calls $1.50, UTG+2 calls $1.50

      Flop: ($8.25) A 2 7 (4 players)
BB checks, UTG+2 checks, Hero checks, MP2 checks

      Turn: ($8.25) Q (4 players)
BB checks, UTG+2 checks, Hero bets $5, MP2 folds, BB calls $5, UTG+2 folds

      River: ($18.25) 5 (2 players)
      BB bets $10 Hero ???

Villain is unknown at the time, only had 7 hands on him, AF=2, vpip-pfr irrelevant I think.

On the turn after everybody checks again I think I have the best hand 90% of the time, planning to check behind river most probably. Now he donks the river. What can he represent here that improved since the turn? I can only give him 3 value hands: A5 (that checked turn for whatever reason), Q5spades and 34 (maybe) spades. The rest are all missed spades. Should I snap here? The size of the bet worries me somehow, looks more towards value than bluff. I'd be more inclined to call a bigger bet.

      Hello circoflax,

Turn seems to be fine but most likely I'd just fold the river. You are most likely beaten there. Of course his play doesn't make sense but would he really float you in multiway pot this way?

Also the problem as you mention out already yourself is the sizing which I would also take as a value-bet. :(

      Best Regards.
