      HI there i`m a bit confused, but is it -EV spot to fold on river? Villain unknown, just came on table and after 10 hands went away.

      to me river is blank and I would tend there c/c just to defend myself bluffing out of draws that most missed on the river. I think he likely needs to have there KJ or 8x+ to put me all-in on the river and consider he just limped, his range are likely wider than just 88/44 and should also include hands like T9, QT, 6d7d and so on that he may all bet on the river.

      But if you feel people are not bluffing there too often, then fold is ofcourse fine- to my experience players who limp tend also try to bluff you out at some point if you check to them.
