So first, I played ~50.000 SnGs and DoNs before I came to iPoker network, where I had constant ROI of around 0% even though I am running around 500 BI under EV.
Mind you, I don't mind my 0% ROI, neither do I mind being this much under EV.
But where the fuck is the kill-switch? WHERE?!!

Since I came to iPoker I won approximately 35% of my all ins (I'm not exaggerating) even though I was definitely a fair favorite most of the time. Just keep getting my aces out flopped, when I'm behind in an all in (but not dominated) I win like 1 out of 5 etc. That's horseshit.

All of this keeps happening over almost 5.000 games?
      How is this possible?!

      Magic -7% ROI.

Really, 4.000$ under? That's a year's salary here in Serbia.
I can't take this shit anymore, it's not worth losing my life or my health.

I got 2 more days to clear this bonus of 1.500$ which will keep my hopes up for the next month. If I can't manage to rake approximately 215$ in the next 2 days with these 130$ I have left, then I'll probably quit poker.

And to be clear, I improved greatly over the past several months. I'm doing SnGWiz Push/Fold with 98% accuracy on Average and 90% on Expert (even though I'm racing through them, taking one second tops to do one, I could do much better if I took my time) but I guess that means shit. Or all those videos I watched and good changes I implemented.
4 Years of studying poker and improving and this is what I get? Getting bum fucked?

I swear to God, I sometimes feel like I'm in The Truman Show, being manipulated and laughed at.

EDIT: I wanted to dedicate another page to these great winning regs at iPoker and their brilliant plays but that will have to wait for tomorrow. This is how I know I should be winning money instead of plummeting down. When I see how shit they are and still having positive ROI.

quit, poker will ruin your life.

If you dont make your first million in poker within 3 months of playing, you're not a winning player and you should just give it up and save yourself the frustration trying to grind your way to any kind og income.

Damn..this is a pretty depressing thread. I thought like the other poster in this thread said, that Diamond members would be winning members.

Hope you manage to turn it around. Good luck with that 1500 bonus and hopefully you get some nice rakeback.

Ouch Vlad, really sorry to read.

I've seen this in the past too. Chasing bonuses sometimes de-rails you mentally from playing your A game. It has certainly happened in the past to me.

I've been practising a lot lately in ICM trainer and whilst getting 97-99% on average as soon as I hit the virtual felt my luck deserts me.

Gotta hang on in there and maybe once you've achieved your bonus take a little time away and recharge yourself mentally.

      My 2 cents :)

Switch to 100bb cashgame where u actually need postflop skill and not just shove pre flop with tiny edges.

      Thanks for your good wishes.

I did seemingly impossible achievement of raking 215$ with 130$ BR.
Now I got a cool ~1650$ on my account.

I'm making my BRM more strict of, let's say, 200 BIs or more. I'd have to play 5s, but I don't care.
This is the last time I'm stressing about these, seemingly impossible swings.

As well I'm never playing DoNs on iPoker ever again (this time seriously). I'd rather play Hypers which are, because of these DoN idiots, less of a gamble.
I agree that I made a mistake in chasing the bonus but only because I decided to play DoNs to achieve it.

If you are reading this and you're playing DoNs on iPoker, you're an idiot sir.
If you disagree, tell me your nick and I'll show you why you are.
      (taking of 10s & 20s, you're cool akrammon :P )

Let's take a look at what I'm up against (try guessing what they had before peaking - these are all DoNs):

I could go on and on, these are all just from the past few days (and if I wanted I could post hundreds from the last week).
Can you really imagine trying to steal a blind in late stages from these clowns.
Reg's calling range for a bubble steal is Ax, KT, K8s etc. you got the picture. Even if he ends up crippled and he got no need to call.

And how is anyone without a real hand supposed to play post flop against these morons?
      He got a gutshot? Call.
      K high? Call.
Winning player with flush draw? Call or Push.
3rd pair? Call and Hit 2 pair.

Made a new post to end this because previous one got too cluttered.

The day when I started this thread I lost 700$ playing 10s and some 20s DoNs. Can you imagine that? Being far in front so often and losing this much.

Running into aces with really good hands.
Stealing on the bubble, getting called by a horrible hand which shouldn't call and dominate you.
Being far in front on the flop and getting outdrawn continuously. Like this:

Why are you complaining about playing against calling stations who call with anything?

You value bet your top pairs and they call down light. In the end, you make profit. Where's the complaint in that? :f_biggrin:

Hey Vishmaster, I can't seem to add you as a friend, but I can see you requested it.
And I'm not playing hypers, I just said I'd even play those gambling fests (with 10% rake) over DoNs :f_biggrin:

      @FlashDavin

Well I didn't go into detail, but their usual line is call, call, push or call, push.
And they do that 80% of the time, as well a dangerous card comes on turn or river 90% of the time. But even if I feel they are bluffing and my pair is good, I can't call in a DoN.

What did they call preflop with, when they call with hands ranging from 74s to AKs? What did they call the flop with? Was it a top pair, a flush draw, a gut-shot, 3rd pair, nothing? I can't conclude anything when they have the same line most of the time. I can't conclude whether they are bluffing or not and the risk is not worth it.

If this was regular SnG I'd call more often. But more often then not, I have to fold and my 1 pair simply isn't enough.

EDIT: I just saw you're a cash player. Are you comparing DoNs with a cash game? :f_biggrin:
