Cake Poker, $0.02/$0.04 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 9 Players

      SB: $3.92 (98 bb)
      BB: $4 (100 bb)
      UTG+1: $2.47 (61.8 bb)
      UTG+2: $3.85 (96.3 bb)
      Hero (MP1): $4.26 (106.5 bb)
      MP2: $3.87 (96.8 bb)
      MP3: $1.78 (44.5 bb)
      CO: $1.79 (44.8 bb)
      BTN: $14.81 (370.3 bb)

      Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 7 7
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.16, 5 folds, BB calls $0.12

      Flop: ($0.34) K 9 A (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.23, BB calls $0.23

      Turn: ($0.80) 5 (2 players)
      BB checks, Hero checks

      River: ($0.80) 3 (2 players)
      BB bets $0.28, Hero folds

Opp is unknown. Should I barrell turn as he could be drawing for flush? River bet is pretty small but if he was in front he still is, and if he was drawing he hit it so I don't think I'm ahead here enough to call. Is this OK?

      Hello Oly0909,

Already betting on the flop is questionable cause you are never making a Kx to fold there, if he is loose then maybe not even a 9x. Therefore could as well just Check it behind or if you CB then max CB just once cause 2nd barreling doesn't make sense -> value-towning yourself.

      Best Regards.

      Hello veriz,

it's kind of confusing since in "Before the flop - You Have Initiative" article AK8 flop is example of good flop to Cbet. Is here something different (except FD poss., but I think you're not talking about it) that I don't see, or you're saying that from your experience AKx flops are not such a good flops for Cbetting?

      Tnx!

What's the purpose of just betting once the flop and then Checking the turn and then have to fold the river? It's pretty obvious play and he mostly will bet the river even with missed draws.

We have showdown value with 77 and vs any hand what folds we are ahead anyways with our 77 and rarely any better hands fold here.
