Poker Stars, $0.10/$0.25 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

      BTN: $35.92 (143.7 bb)
      SB: $54.89 (219.6 bb)
      BB: $25 (100 bb)
      UTG: $19.07 (76.3 bb)
      MP: $50.65 (202.6 bb) 22/16/6.7/2.0/39/112 Agg Freq 50% C-Bet flop 100%(8) Turn C-Bet 100%(2) River C-Bet 100%(1) Fold to Flop 3-Bet 0%(3)
      Hero (CO): $38.79 (155.2 bb) 20/15/2.0/7.4/36/66

Preflop: Hero is CO with A Q
UTG calls $0.25, MP raises to $1.25, Hero calls $1.25, 3 folds, UTG calls $1

I don't 3-Bet cause he folds less. Anyway I could have a better A and have position so I decide to call. The people behind me aren't too loose either so I don't expect a multiway pot.

      Flop: ($4.10) T 4 6 (3 players)
UTG checks, MP bets $2.75, Hero calls $2.75, UTG folds

He's very aggressive, I have overcards so I decide to call and see what happens on the turn. If he pops another on the turn and I miss I'll fold else I'll call. If he checks turn no matter what I'll bet. Don't expect him to be on many draws.

      Turn: ($9.60) A (2 players)
MP bets $7, Hero calls $7

Not giving up my hand now. However I fear AK and his bet seems strong on the turn. Now I feel like I should have 3-Bet pre-flop so that I'd know now if he has AK :) . Anyway I stick to the plan and call. I also fear AT but he's aggressive and could be bluffing.

      River: ($23.60) K (2 players)
MP bets $15, Hero calls $15

I don't like the river at all. AK has me dominated. KT also beats me now. But when I look at his stats I still feel he could be bluffing or overplaying a weaker hand as he's aggressive (112 Hands AF 6.7). So I call.

      Results: $53.60 pot ($2 rake)
      Final Board: T 4 6 A K
MP showed 7 7 and lost (-$26 net)
      Hero showed A Q and won $51.60 ($25.60 net)

I was right in this situation but should I be playing like this against such an opponent?

Floating 3-way is likely not the best play. Besides A or Q you likely can´t continue and if he is c-betting there medium pairs he would likely c/c turn and continue barreling on the turn maybe even just his overcards putting you some medium strength hand.

Sometimes I would raise flop if I feel his range is too wide. if he has there air he would mostly give up.

As played: I would call him down. he can always valuebet worse hands and your hand seems too strong to fold

      best regards,
