      UTG+2 ($5)

      Dealt to Hero Q:heart: Q:spade:

fold, Hero raises to $0.20, fold, MP1 raises to $0.60, fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero calls $0.40

      FLOP ($1.27) 7:club: 2:diamond: 9:club:

Hero checks, MP1 bets $0.91, Hero calls $0.91

      TURN ($3.09) 7:club: 2:diamond: 9:club: A:spade:

      Hero checks, MP1 checks

      RIVER ($3.09) 7:club: 2:diamond: 9:club: A:spade: 3:diamond:

      Hero bets $2, MP1 calls $2

Villain stats are: 16/11/6/1.0 (VPIP/PFR/3-bet/AF) over 38 hands.

On the flop I called his c-bet, thinking that I still beat hands like AK,AQ,JJ. After all, why did I call preflop if I'm not willing to see a c-bet with the overpair? I was prepaired to c/f the turn if he continued

Turn is an ace and after check-check I think he has kings (or less likely Jacks).

So I tried to bet the river first, mostly because I wanted to present an ace. Was it better to c/f or c/c here? I think he would bet something. But I still don't know if I could make a TAG to fold KK often enough...

      Hero shows Q:heart: Q:spade:
      MP1 shows K:diamond: K:club:
      MP1 wins $6.80

      Hello datalogg,

Even if you go that far then from what worse hands do you get called on the river? Almost everything beats you and mostly JJ just folds there. Rather just Check/Fold it.

      Best Regards.
