Hi, in this hand I am not sure with my preflop play as now I do not think I played it profitable in long term. Also I am not very sure on flop, if it is better to slowplay (call) on this board or put a pressure on BB and raise.

IPoker, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 8 Players

      MP1: $0.98 (49 bb)
      MP2: $0.76 (38 bb)
      MP3: $0.93 (46.5 bb) Vpip: 44 Pfr: 14 Af: 1,1 H: 607
      CO: $2.10 (105 bb)
Hero (BTN): $2 (100 bb) Vpip: 19 Pfr: 13 Af: 1,0 H: 54 (my stats at the current table
      SB: $2 (100 bb)
      BB: $2.41 (120.5 bb) Vpip: 23 Pfr: 10 Af: 0,7 H: 168 3bet: 0
      UTG+2: $2 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with 7 7
2 folds, MP2 calls $0.02, MP3 raises to $0.06, CO folds, Hero calls $0.06, SB folds, BB raises to $0.18, MP2 folds, MP3 calls $0.12, Hero calls $0.12

I am not very sure if it is good idea in this situation to call 3bet raise from passive BB but when there was also call from shortstack on MP3 so I decided to call.

      Flop: ($0.57) K 7 4 (3 players)
BB bets $0.40, MP3 folds, Hero raises to $1.77, ...

Board is not very dangerous, I do not believe BB has 65 so there is "only" threat of flush draw. I decided to raise his bet on the flop...

      ...but unfortunatelly he folded.

      ... BB folds

      Results: $1.37 pot ($0.09 rake)
      Final Board: K 7 4
MP3 mucked and lost (-$0.18 net)
      Hero mucked 7 7 and won $1.28 ($0.70 net)
BB mucked and lost (-$0.58 net)

      Preflop
After Mp3 calls, I think you get the right odds to call. You are going to be in position postflop, so if you get a set, it will be easy to get value.

      Flop
Many cards can come on the turn ( or maybe 3/8) which is going to slow him down imo, so I'd raise it. He could put us on draws or weaker kings, so its a raise for value.

      Hello TedG82,

It's a 3bet pot therefore I wouldn't be scared of it and I'd just Call and let him continue with bluffs and weaker hands on the turn. :)

      Best Regards.

If he has a king, you will be able to make him go AI with a raise.
He's not aggressive with 0,7aggression factor, I doubt that he's going to bet without a king later on.
We should get the money in, while we're ahead.

What's the question? Cause I don't really see any reason to argue with you here. :)

Why don't we raise the flop?

Cause I'd try to keep his weaker PPs in the play. :)
