      $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

      BTN: $12.71 (127.1 bb)
      SB: $3.73 (37.3 bb)
      BB: $10.43 (104.3 bb)
      UTG: $12.66 (126.6 bb)
      MP: $15.76 (157.6 bb)
      Hero (CO): $11.71 (117.1 bb)

      MP unknown
      BU 23/23 reg

is calling AJo in CO too marginal?
i thought it would be ok IP as long as there is no loose players behind who like to squeeze.
Or is this a spot i should be 3betting or just folding?
Postflop I felt like there wasn't much else to do, but i doubt MP is barrelling turn against two opponents with worse.

I wanted to know though, how should this be played if BU folded pre?
Is turn still a fold? i don't like calling twice then folding on a blank river, but folding the turn HU IP seems weak.
I have been in a fair few of there spots lately and am a bit lost because theres no way to know where i am in the hand.

Preflop: Hero is CO with A:diamond: J:spade:
UTG folds, MP raises to $0.30, Hero calls $0.30, BTN calls $0.30, 2 folds

      Flop: ($1.05) 8:club: A:spade: 4:club: (3 players)
MP bets $0.85, Hero calls $0.85, BTN calls $0.85

      Turn: ($3.60) 2:diamond: (3 players)
MP bets $2.90, Hero folds, BTN calls $2.90

      River: ($9.40) T:diamond: (2 players)
      MP bets $5.75, BTN folds

      Results: $9.40 pot ($0.42 rake)
      Final Board: 8:club: A:spade: 4:club: 2:diamond: T:diamond:
BTN mucked and lost (-$4.05 net)
MP mucked and won $8.98 ($4.93 net)

      Hello dannywratten,

Preflop: Depends a lot what kind of opponents we have behind us, if they are loose or even squeeze happy then wouldn't go for it. neither we don't know if we dominate a lot of MP range while the guy is unknown.

      As played
Postflop: Not much to comment, I doubt that we are far-far ahead ever here and we have another guy behind us who is a reg.

      Best Regards.

      Thanks veriz,
So if the pot was HU & BU folded pre, would call flop, fold turn still be preferrable?

Depends a lot on what kind of range we put him on and with what we assume him 2nd barreling. Do you see many guys just leaving the pot alone on the turn if they CB the flop?

Well i guess on this limit not many people are going to be continuing turn without Ax right?
And since hes cbetting into two opponents he must have at least Ax or better.
But surely it would be a mistake to just fold flop?
He might still bet once with a worse A then pot control.

Maybe this is why i should just fold pre :f_confused:

That's the question what I usually also ask on the flop when I am calling there. :D We assume him going to CB the turn anyways, so would it even make sense to just donate the money into him? But overall I would say it's safer play and sometimes you might even see Checks in those spots especially when it's NL10.

Calling preflop is also both way question, with flatting we still keep his range wide but otherwise vs unknown might be safer option to 3bet and try to find out how he adjusts.
